New user registration with email or phone number and seamless guest checkout

This project entailed integration of a guest checkout. From that we also incorporated a new registration design fields with the ability for the users to either register with their emails or phone number, which is part of a new feature that comes with guest checkout.
Conducted thorough research to understand user preferences, industry best practices, and emerging trends from competitor and other retail companies related to guest checkout systems, multi-method registration, and secure confirmation processes.
Implemented a user-centric design approach, incorporating insights from research into wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups. Emphasised intuitive navigation, clear visual hierarchy, and a cohesive design language to enhance the overall user experience.



Created a comprehensive style guide defining the visual states of each new component, encompassing default, active, error, and hover states. This style guide also detailed the visual representation of the new password feature, illustrating password strength and providing guidance for users. Ensured consistency across desktop, tablet, and mobile interfaces.

Outlined considerations for future development, such as ongoing user testing, scalability for potential feature expansions, and staying on top of evolving design trends to maintain the platform's relevance and user satisfaction.
